Purpose

I am blogging about the events from the 2008 ICA/NASULGC Conference in Columbia, Missouri, hosted by the University of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. With being knee-deep in the conference and attempting to do homework on the side I was not able to get this information up sooner but I hope this will serve well as a student perspective of the conference as well as give a brief summary of what the paper presentations were about. Please comment on any of my posts as you wish if any information needs to be changed or if you would like for me to elaborate on a certain aspect of the conference.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience this year. It was great getting to meet and talk with everyone and I hope we can cross paths in the future. All of you know how to make getting a MSc abroad look very tempting to an undergraduate student. I am majoring in agriculture journalism so this blog is a way for me to practice my journalism and agriculture/life sciences skills.
